Eligibility Requirements

Candidates should have sufficient experience in an HR Role.

English proficiency. If English is your second language, we recommend you have an IELTS 6.5/ESOL Level 2 or equivalent, but we're happy to review your case on an individual basis.

As part of the application process, candidates will be required to complete a Diagnostic Assessment.

This is an instructor-Led progarmme, 13 classroom days / 26 online days /105 training hours.

The programme is developed to meet the needs of busy professionals and incorporates group work, case studies, and scenarios from current HR Practice with unlimited support via e-mail to your programme tutors.
The diploma program is a combination of classroom guided learning, online learning, and self-study. The students are working professionals so we have split the classroom days into manageable chunks. You will only need to take time off work for a few days at a time and there is also sufficient time in between the blocks (modules) to self-study and complete assignments.
Our programs are taught by practicing HR professionals and supported with creative and interesting learning materials. Therefore, our programs encourage collaboration, interaction, participation and the sharing of experiences with fellow students, whilst building a strong working relationship with our team.
Assessment Method
Assessments

There are no exams or workshops on this program. Students will be assessed via a range of methods include written assignments (business reports, work based project and reflective statements to support individual learning plans), presentations, role plays as well your contribution to online discussion forums.

Students will submit your assignments for each module online. Each will be between 2500 and 3900 words. Assignments will be marked by your tutor and verified by CIPD. At the beginning of the program, students will get an access to the We-are-HR Student hub. The student hub has detailed resources for each module. Before each class, the tutor will share all the resources needed and during classes students will work through each of the learning outcomes.
Assessment focus
Assessment for the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management is employer driven and aimed at real scenarios that learners may encounter in their future career.
Assessment grading
This qualification is not graded. Learners will receive either a Pass or Fail. All assessment criteria must be met in order to achieve a Pass.
Qualification achievement

All assessments for this qualification are criterion referenced, based on the achievement of specified learning outcomes.

To achieve a Pass for this qualification, a learner must have satisfied all the assessment criteria for each unit. If the complete qualification is not achieved, credit can be issued in the form of a statement of standalone unit credit.

Statements of standalone unit credit will be subject to the currency of the existing qualification and CIPD quality assurance checks. The CIPD’s decision will be final.
Progression
Successful achievement of the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management will allow progression onto the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management or the CIPD Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Learning and Development.

Schedule

The Qualification is delivered in 3 modules/blocks of 8-10 days each.

There is a period of 6-8 weeks between each module. This allows the student to return to their workplace, review their learning, and complete the required workbooks and assignments.
